For countless families and individuals, the financial crisis of 2008 was a sobering, life-altering event. It devastated the lives of families all over the world, but it also changed an entire industry. Thousands who had worked and trained for careers on Wall Street were suddenly without jobs and facing enormous losses, among which were homes, marriages, and most tragically... HOPE.
Chad Petterson, among those affected, worked for seven years in those trenches, bringing hope to colleagues through a project called Wall Street Exodus.
As the world now struggles to function amidst another crisis, and the financial and emotional toll can’t yet be calculated, Chad has seen the unsettling parallels between 2008 and today. Now living in Nashville, his heart has been moved to bring hope where hope is needed -- to artists, musicians and other entertainment industry professionals who are struggling with lost income, lost identity, and a chance to work in a field they love.
With a deep faith in God, a sense of urgency, and great human compassion, Chad has rallied a Nashville-based group of business owners, industry leaders, and other professionals to offer immediate support, restoration, and hope to those who've shaped our town's legendary music scene.
Nashville, you are loved and your talent has great worth. Working together, our aim is to help give you the HOPE you need to not only overcome this crisis, but to be positively transformed by it.
That is our prayer and our mission.
SAME HEART. NEW FOCUS.
